Rules of Discipline

Discipline is the foundation of character. The school expects every student to develop discipline as a natural part of life and to follow the rules sincerely.

General Conduct

· Students must bring their school diary every day and also on PTM days.

· On school days and during school functions, students must wear the prescribed uniform for the respective season.

· Books, tiffin boxes, and all personal belongings must be clearly labelled with the student’s name. The school will not be responsible for any lost items.

· Students should not wear expensive ornaments or jewellery of any kind to school.

· Students arriving late must get their diary signed by the Principal/In-charge/PTIs before entering the class. Repeated late-comers will be sent back home.

· No books, newspapers, magazines, comics, CDs, pen drives, advertisements, etc., other than course-related material, may be brought to school without prior permission of the Principal.

· Any damage caused to school property must be compensated by the student.

· The school will not be responsible for students after school hours. Parents should instruct their children not to visit others’ homes without permission.

· Purchasing food or other items from unauthorized vendors near the school is strictly prohibited.

· Students will not be allowed to answer or make phone calls during school hours.

· Exchange of articles or monetary transactions between students is not permitted.

· Students are expected to converse in English within the school premises.

· Personal hygiene and cleanliness must be maintained.

· Littering is strictly prohibited. Students must use the dustbins provided and help keep the school campus plastic-free.

· Running, shouting, or playing inside the school building is not allowed.

· While moving along corridors or changing classes, students must maintain silence.

Interaction with Parents/Guardians

· Parents/guardians may meet teachers to discuss academic progress only on Saturdays, immediately after school, with prior permission from the Principal/In-charge and a confirmed appointment.

· Parents are expected to support the school by ensuring regularity, discipline, completion of homework, and participation in school activities.

· Parents who fail to meet school authorities when advised may risk their ward being restricted from attending classes.

· Parents must refer to the school calendar, date sheets, and circulars before calling the school for information.

· Parents/guardians are responsible for their ward’s conduct, home study, and regular attendance.

· The Principal reserves the right to retain or remove students whose behaviour—inside or outside school—is contrary to school ideals. Acts such as insubordination, disrespect, harmful conduct, irregular attendance, leaving school without permission, lack of punctuality, dishonesty, or poor academic progress may lead to removal from the school rolls.

Birthdays

· Students from Classes I to V may celebrate their birthdays in school. The birthday child may wear casual clothes and may distribute sweets/chocolates only to classmates and teachers. No birthday return gifts are allowed.

Behaviour & Safety

· Students misbehaving on the school bus will be immediately removed from the bus list.

· Giving presents or gifts to teachers, or holding demonstrations in their honour, requires prior approval of the Principal.

· Only students with a valid driving licence are permitted to come to school on two-wheelers. Cycles must remain locked even within the school premises.
